These valve covers are technically correct for your early small block in every way. The chrome on these valve covers is shiny on the top and fades to a dusty look on the ends and at the sealing surface. The covers themselves are dimpled on the end with waves in the steel. This is EXACTLY the way the covers were when they were put on the engines from GM.

These will fit any GM small block from 1959-67.
