This is the correct Cowl Induction hood solenoid for all 1969 Camaro. When you stomp the accelerator to the floor in your 1969 Camaro with cowl induction, the Cowl induction switch pushes against the firewall completing the circuit. Next, the cowl induction solenoid gets the juice to open up the the Cowl Hood flapper valve. This directs cold air from the cowl area straight into the air filter.
